We are very pleased to offer this unique Chevron B23, the only Chevron sportscar which was powered with a Cosworth DFV engine by the factory. As the car started life as a B23 with chassis number B23-73-21, we will refer to the car by its chassis number.

Being one of the few DFV-engined sportscars existing, this stunning Chevron has shown its capabilities by winning various CER races during the 2016 season. At the end of 2016, the car was thoroughly gone through and is in fresh, race ready condition with a latest spec G. Richardson DFV engine (zero hours)and still has its original, rebuild FG400 gearbox. Fuel cell, crack test report, belts and fire extinguisher system are all current.

The ownership chain from its 1st owner to the present owner is clear and uninterrupted. B23-73-21 is well documented and comes with an attestation by Chevron Cars Ltd., a current FIA HTP and good spares.

This one-off Chevron is on-the-button and ready to provide its new owner with lots of driving joy while being a front runner in today's historic racing scene around the world.

We are pleased to offer this stunning Lola T70 Mk3B 2nd series factory continuation car with chassis HU76/160 for sale.

Lola Cars Ltd manufactured six 2nd series continuation cars (the 1st series were build in the early 80ies) between 2006 and 2010. HU76/160 was the 2nd one build and the 1st customer car (as Lola kept HU76/159 with them for promotion).

It was delivered in its Scuderia Filipinetti livery to its first owner, father and son Esmond and Andrew Smith, at Le Mans Classic in 2006. Maintained by Gary Pearson with no expense spared, Andrew raced the car in the World Sportscar Masters from 2006 to 2009 with many outright wins and podium finishes. The car also participated in the 2008 Le Mans parade for Lola 50th Anniversary in 2008.  After having been unused for a few years, it was then fully rebuild by Pearson prior to our brokering the sale of HU76/159 to its current owner in January of 2016 who has used the car sparingly with only about 3 hours running!

As such it is no surprise that HU76/159 is in perfect condition with a Steve Warrior 5.0 litre Chevy small block engine on carburettors, LG-600 gearbox, new fuel cells, rebuilt and crack tested suspension and rebuild brakes. Everything on the car is current and it needs nothing spend further. In addition to a 2016 FIA HTP, spares included are 3 sets of wheels, front body section and some gear-ratio’s.

Being one of a select group of only six official Lola T70 Mk3B 2nd series continuation cars, HU76/160 is now ready to make its re-appearance on the historic racing scene where it remains a welcomed and very competitive entry.

Shelby Cobra CSX2112 was billed to Shelby American on January 1963 after which the car had 3 US owners where it led a normal life until bought by Jim Gould in 1976. After having owned the car for 20+ years, Jim modified the Cobra in 2000 to compete in Vintage races. After several years as a successful vintage racer and 33 years of ownership, Gould sold CSX2112  – through Curt Vogt of Cobra Automotive - in 2007 to Dutch historic racer Peter Van Hoepen. Peter sent CSX2112 to renowned Cobra preparer Classic Racing Cars Ltd where it has been looked after until today. In 2012 we assisted Van Hoepen with the sale of the car to its current owner who has raced it very successfully on the European historic racing scene with many wins and podium finishes.

CSX2112 has undergone a full rebuild following a crash at the 2016 Goodwood members meeting.  The chassis and body repair was done by renowned Cobra specialist G&A Fabrications (an extensive repair description and picture file comes with the car) after which the car was completely overhauled by Classic Racing Cars Ltd, a leading preparer of racing Cobra's. The gearbox, suspension and brakes have been rebuild, a new fuel cell and fire system was installed and the engine was rebuilt to latest FIA specification by V8 engine specialist Steve Warrior.

Still benefitting from a current (2013) FIA HTP, CSX2112 is now looking more resplendent than ever and remains one of the most competitive FIA racing Cobras as evidenced by its pole position in the Gentlemen Driver's race during the Masters Historic Festival at Brands Hatch.

This stunning Cobra is ready to shine again in the hands of a new, lucky owner for racing and/or rallying (street registration is possible as the old US title comes with the car). As a genuine, race-prepared Shelby Cobra, CSX2112 is eligible for all historic events around the world, where it remains a very competitive and welcomed entry.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C2 was built between 1962 and 1967 and, in 1965, this gorgeous, blue-chip American classic received disc brakes all-round and the awesome 425bhp 396 cubic inch (7 litre) Turbojet 'big block engine'

This car, which the current UK owner has had the pleasure to enjoy for more than 10 years, has been meticulously prepared to full FIA specification. It has a fresh, new Tim Adams big block engine delivering 560 bhp, a G-Force T10 gearbox and a Gripper differential. Seat belts, fire system and fuel tank are all current and the car comes with new, 2016 FIA HTP. Nothing further needs to be done to the car and it is sold in race-ready condition.

We have the pleasure to offer this late specification Argo JM19D Group C(2) car for sale.

Argo Racing Cars Ltd was a British racing car constructor founded in the 1980s by Swiss designer Jo Marquart and British mechanic Nick Jordan as part of their Anglia Cars racing team. The company initially constructed a variety of single-seater cars for Formula 3, Formula Atlantic and Formula Super Vee but later on built sports prototypes for the World Sportscar Championship C2 class and the North American IMSA GT Lights category winning several championships in the process.

The JM19 was the second sports prototype design from the company and followed the successful JM16 with this particular car, chassis 129, the eighteenth of nineteen JM19s and was built to “D” spec, the second of only three cars built as such. It was sold by Jo Marquart of Argo Cars Ltd Suisse to Helmut Bross of Herrenberg, Germany in the early summer of 1989. Helmuth Bross was a former car salesman and clerk who excelled in Formula Vee early in his career, but he also had a long career in many disciplines including Interserie and most of the time he acted as his own mechanic and team boss. JM19D/129 was one of four cars in the Bross Racing stable and as well as being raced by Bross himself over the following nine seasons, many rent-a-drivers took their turn.

A solid and reliable enough performer, the car often finished in the top 10. By far the most successful behind the wheel was British driver David Coyne who finished 2nd in the Brands Hatch Interserie race in 1990, and later on in 1993, David won a British National event at Castle Combe recording JM19D/129C’s only ever win. Main sponsors through the year were Valvoline Oil, the Druck Chemie pharmaceutical company, Angles Jeans and Hotsound Records, the Rotterdam based dance label founded in 1981 by Erik van Vliet who raced JM19D/129C for a few races in 1992 managing a respectful 7th place finish at the Zolder Interserie.

In late '97 the car was converted to WSC spider spec and fitted with a Ford Cosworth DFR engine wassold to Swiss driver Josef "Sepp" Sacher who campaigned the Argo under the Sacher Motorsport banner in the Swiss championship in 1997 and '98 with the car being looked after by Heinz Hunziker. In 1999, in what was his farewell year, former owner Helmuth Bross borrowed the car for one race, at Hockenheim where he finished 6th.

In 2009 the car was bought by the owner of ATEC Fluid Systems of Germany who created Argo Racing based in Stavelot, Belgium and prepared and entered two Lamborghinis in the German and FIA championships in 2009 and 2010. Fully rebuilt and re-painted yellow, JM19D/129C was scheduled and ready to take part in the Historic Group C championship until the ATEC/ARGO team owner unexpectedly passed away.

JM19D/129 was then garaged for the next three years in the Stavelot Museum at Spa-Francorchamps until bought by the current owner from the ATEC Estate in November 2012. A couple of days later the Argo was displayed at the Motor Sport World Expo held in Cologne, Germany. After a full ground up restoration and rebuild over the winter, JM19D/129C was taken along to the Spa Spring Test Day in April 2013 for a full shakedown and track test. The car has been very sparingly used since and is regularly maintained and started.

The engine is a 3.5 liter Cosworth DFR with electronic management which has been serviced by Geoff Richardson in August 2015 and has hardly been used since. The car is in excellent condition throughout and only needs crack testing, a new fuel cell and belts to go racing again; the estimated cost of which is less than Euro 10k.

JM19/129C, located in Belgium, is well documented and comes with an extensive spares package including multiple wheel sets, pre-heating system, body work, gear-ratio's, uprights, radiator, drive shafts, etc.

If you are looking for a reliable and cost effective entry into Group C racing, this Argo JM19D 129C would be an excellent buy !

We are very proud to present this very rare and genuine De Tomaso Pantera Group 4, chassis “02858” for sale.

In 1972, due to customer demand, Alessandro de Tomaso decided to build six Group 4 versions of the 5.7 litre V8 Pantera. Taken straight from the production line, six standard steel shells were modified to what was permitted within the rules. Numerous bevelled holes were cut into the chassis to reduce weight. Further weight saving measures were achieved by replacing the front lid, doors and rear engine cover with alloy items. These cars were homologated as the “GT4”.

The GT4 was successful on the track proving itself competitive and at times managed to beat the all-conquering Porsche 911. This led to the demand for more Group 4 cars so a further batch of six cars were built. These cars, dubbed the “Gruppo 4” were identical to the GT4 technically and mechanically, but the Gruppo 4 cars had their lightweight holes pre-cut on the bench before being welded into a complete shell which facilitated the production process of these blue-chip, ultimate racing Panteras.  

One of these 14 examples, chassis “02858” is the earliest car by chassis number, but was actually the second of the eight Gruppo 4 cars built being completed on 26th April ’72. Finished in standard factory racing red and black, it was first registered on 1st July ’72 and sold to Achilli Motors of Milan, a GT and luxury car dealer. The full ownership and racing history of #2858 is known from new, a summary of which can be found in the History section below.

Exceptionally, #2858 has only had 4 owners from new since its birth 45 years ago and was never badly crashed or heavily modified. It is extremely original and has always been very well looked after by its current, 10+ year owner who has campaigned the car regularly on the European historic racing scene.

The car is in race-ready condition with only 7 hours on its 5.7 litre Ford Cleveland engine while its brakes and suspension have recently been refreshed. #2858 is sold with a new, 2017 FIA HTP and comes with good spares including a spare windscreen and two spare wheel sets. This stunning Pantera Gr4 also benefits from a road registration allowing it to be enjoyed on the road and in rallies such as the Tour Auto, Cento Ore Modena, etc..#2858 also comes with a well documented ownership- and race-history file.

Genuine Pantera Gr4 do not come on the market very often and very few cars are as original as #2858. They are the ultimate Italian-American racing pedigree Pantera eligible for many racing events incl. Le Mans Classic where they will regularly beat their in-period Porsche 911 RSR rival.  

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine, no-stories and properly sorted De Tomaso Pantera Group 4 !
